Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. built the “Dehe” fishing crane pipe-laying ship project for the Yantai Salvage Bureau. The Yantai 5000T crane pipe-laying ship is one of the most difficult and technologically advanced marine engineering projects in the world undertaken by Zhenhua Company. This project is a key investment project funded by the State Council, and also the largest ship project invested by the salvage system of the Ministry of Communications to date. The ship is equipped with internationally advanced DP3 dynamic positioning, 10-point anchoring positioning and underwater 3000-meter fishing functions, and a large offshore engineering crane with a lifting capacity of 5000 tons of fixed crane/3500 tons of full swing crane is set at the stern. At the same time, the ship is equipped with S-type pipe laying equipment and relevant underwater robot system interfaces. It is applicable to the rescue and salvage operations of underwater sunken ships and sunken objects, and has the ability to deal with emergencies, carry out the overall salvage of large-tonnage underwater objects, and quickly clear obstacles. It can also carry out the lifting and installation of large modules, platform modules, jackets and other offshore engineering structures at sea. At the same time, it has platform operation support, diving operation support and other functions.


The ship is a deepwater development and construction ship with the main functions of offshore deepwater lifting, pipe-laying and underwater installation. The highly redundant DP3 dynamic positioning system and 10-point anchoring system enable it to meet the lifting and pipe-laying operation requirements of deepwater and shallow water areas worldwide, and can accommodate 398 people to live on the ship at the same time. At the same time, it has entered the ABS/CCS double classification, with a total length of 199 meters, a moulded width of 47.6 meters, and a moulded depth of 15.0 meters. It has a DP3 dynamic positioning system, a 10-point anchoring positioning system, and a pipe-laying system.

“Dehe” is the first cooperation project between Zhenhua Heavy Industry and Yantai Salvage Bureau. During the construction process, both Zhenhua Heavy Industry and Yantai Salvage Bureau attached great importance to it. The project teams of both sides have overcome many difficulties and challenges, constantly improved communication and mutual trust, and established a deep friendship. The smooth delivery of the project has laid a solid foundation for both sides to carry out in-depth and extensive cooperation in the future.
